On August 1st, with TSC’s assistance, our client, Umbo Innovation LLC, has successfully launched their first doll collection, “My Hero” Series. Their new journey has now been featured on Fox 5, New Channels 6 and Coronado Times
Lieutenant Matt Miller left for deployment when his now four year old son was just a month old. After his wife was worried about the two making a connection, they were inclined to create recording books so their son could hear Matt’s voice. Now they are launching a plush toy to make the bond tangible while they are many miles apart.
“I think its connection and bonding no matter where you are. And it also lets the child know where you are and maybe why their parent may be gone for an extended period of time in a positive way.” Matt’s wife and Co-Creator of My Hero Jaclyn Miller said.
The now mother of two had the same concerns many young families when a loved one is deployed. “Matt was on a 6 month deployment when my first was a month old. I was really worried about that connection between our oldest son Mason and Matt.” She explained.
